3D tooth chart

Your findings, on every tooth. In 3D.

Record the examination as you always do. Odontra draws it on a chart made from real tooth anatomy — and one click turns any tooth, or the whole mouth, in 3D with the findings painted where you recorded them.

Mouth in 3D from a sample examination: both arches with the gum, recession on the lower front teeth, inflamed gum and bleeding points

The whole mouth

Both arches, the gum, every finding.

“Mouth in 3D” builds both arches with one continuous gum and paints every tooth with this report’s findings — the view to turn towards the patient.

  • —Front, left, right and both occlusal views; one arch or both
  • —Gum by site: recession shows the root, inflamed gum is redder and fuller, bleeding and pus as dots
  • —Tooth positions from the recorded degrees and millimetres: rotation, spacing, crowding, crossbite
  • —A bridge drawn as one prosthesis — retainers, pontic and connectors
  • —Primary and mixed teeth, unerupted teeth seen through the gum
  • —Before / after: this examination beside the one before
  • —“Include 3D view of the mouth” in the printed report

Straight talk

What it is — and what it is not.

A picture a patient understands is only useful if it is honest.

An illustration of your findings

Typical tooth shapes on a typical arch, painted with what you recorded. It is not the patient’s scan or X-ray, and the screen says so.

Nothing invented

A detail you did not record is never guessed. Recession without mm is drawn at an illustrative size and the legend says “mm not recorded”; a suspected finding is drawn fainter.
